So, I've been considering this for a while, and figured I would throw it out there to gauge interest in the idea.

Would anyone be interested in a Supernatural series re-watch community? Like, for every episode, a post would go up, where members can flail and squee together?

I'm sure something like this exists somewhere, but I figure I will be more inclined to watch this season as it airs if I know I have other people to discuss it with, too.

So. Good idea, bad idea? Idea that already exists?

This is a question for those of you who live/have lived/know California well.

In what areas is the public transportation good/fairly decent (as in, decent enough that I could get around without a car for a while and not have to break the bank paying for cabs all the time)? Areas of particular interest are Santa Cruz, Santa Monica, and San Diego.

I am thinking of getting a new phone plan. I've been thinking about it for a while because right now, I just cannot afford the plan I have.

I was considering downgrading to one that doesn't require paying monthly for a data plan, but am also thinking about a pay-as-you-go phone. As I have never had one, I am unsure how they work and if this would end up being more or less money in the long run.

So - suggestions? For reference, right now, I have a Verizon plan with 450 daytime minutes, unlimited text, and what used to be their unlimited data plan. I never use all of the minutes and I don't receive a crazy amount of texts. I don't know what my data usage is, but I know it's nothing too insane.

I have a question. I just got a new tarot deck, and in looking at all of the awesomely inspiring pictures, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a multi-fandom tarot fic and art fest? As in I would supply a picture and the card's explanation, and the author/artist would have to create something around that card as inspiration (I know there was an HP community like this a while back, for artists I think.)

Good idea? Bad idea?

Also, not that this really applies to anyone reading this, but for the time being, I've disabled anonymous commenting as I keep getting spammed :-/

I am in need of your assistance, flist. My darling brain twin [livejournal.com profile] dream_mancer is planning on visiting NYC with some friends in September, and is looking for hotels to stay at.

As I have never stayed in hotels in NY, I am entirely useless.

If anyone knows of any hotels that are relatively inexpensive, please drop me a comment. We'd really appreciate it :D

After seeing "Prince Caspian," I now have the urge to write Narnia fic. I have the plot idea in my head, I just need the answer to a question (or two) before I can write it, if anyone on my f-list could maybe assist?

Question about The Last Battle, in particular )

So, today I went even more insane then before.

I sat down to write my [livejournal.com profile] fanfict00bs fic - my nice, short but well-thought-out fic for today.

Instead, I came out with a detailed plot for a multi-chapter fic, and a brand new idea for [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite that is seeming to write itself. And since my last idea is just not going as well as I thought it would, I'm going to let my muse speak for herself, and go with it.

Dear brain,

WHAAAAAAAAT?

However, I need some information that I didn't find in Deathly Hallows or at the Lexicon. And if I can't find it, I'm going to have to make it up.

Questions regarding the Epilogue Of Doom - Potterlets, Weasley kids, etc )

Okay dear flist, I have a question.

Do I still have to spoiler cut this? I guess I will, just in case. )

Okay flist - I need your help.

If I were to travel, by Amtrak, from NY to Salem, how would I get there? I know I have to get off in Boston, but I can't remember which stop. I'm trying to find directions via internet, and the intarwebz are not being at all helpful as of yet.

I've done it before, but I don't remember exactly HOW I did it - which trains I took, exactly I mean. I'd be aiming to travel between 5:30PM and 6PM on a Friday, if that makes any difference.

Random question to the flist, especially those of you who are Joss Whedon fans.

Have any of you read "Fray" or the "Astonishing X-Men" comics? How are they? I was thinking of either getting them off Amazon, or going to the local comic store and seeing if they're in stock.
